If you find an error report that is similar to the one above, it is likely that you are missing a necessary DLL file from Windows Media Player. I found the solution from a fellow XNA developper who had customers running into the same problem and kurdz_otaku who was nice enough to spend some time debugging with me. If all you are getting at startup is a black screen, the root cause should be that you need to install Windows Media Player for the game to work.
